Traverse Architectural Group, L.L.C. of Traverse City, Michigan, is a highly innovative full service architectural firm specializing in residential, multi-family, educational and commercial architecture, along with various disciplines within commercial architecture. Established in 2001, TAG has been commissioned for a number of projects in the Grand Traverse region. Some recent projects include Tamarack Lodge, a new hotel condominium resort complex on East Grand Traverse Bay, Northwestern Michigan College’s Aviation Simulator Lab renovation at the existing aviation hanger facility, renovations to Osterlin Library, and East and West Residential Halls on NMC’s main campus. Additional projects include a Bed and Breakfast Facility at Chateau Chantal Winery, a new winery on Old Mission Peninsula and numerous multi-family projects throughout Northern Michigan. David L. Spala is Director of Architecture at Traverse Architectural Group.

Traverse Architectural Group also has a professional affiliation with the firm Mansfield and Associates, Inc. Mansfield and Associates is a full service civil engineering firm, offering design services for site planning, surveying, site engineering and construction observation services. The two companies have worked closely in the past on planning projects with various developers throughout the state. Traverse Architectural Group uses the administrative, legal, accounting and CAD resources of Mansfield and Associates under a joint partnership
